Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex provides support to women and girls aged 13 or over who’ve experienced rape or sexual abuse at any time in their lives. Our confidential services are free of charge and provided by a team of female specialists. We will listen. We will believe you. We will stand alongside you. You do not have to do this alone.
Our helpline is open 365 days a year to women and girls who have survived any form of sexual violence. We offer specialised, confidential support, information and referral details completely free of charge. The helpline can be reached on 0808 802 9999 and is open every day of the year between 12noon and 2.30pm and between 7pm and 9.30pm.
Our counselling service offers up to a year of 1-2-1 weekly counselling sessions with our team of specialist female counsellors. Our advocacy service offers practical and emotional support to women and girls who are thinking about making a report to the police, or who are already moving through the criminal justice system and would like support along the way.
Our confidential Crawley based centre is currently closed to help our community minimise then spread of Coronavirus, but the team is still here to support you during this time so please do get in touch.
We accept self-referrals to our counselling service from any local women who would like to access our support, via email@example.com or 01293 438 577. Referrals into our advocacy service can be made directly by women and girls who would like to access our support or by professionals by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
